Many have complained since the establishment of Social Benefits Repayment on Old Age Security. In a letter to Finance Minister Flaherty, CARP has asked that the OAS “clawback” be revisited so as to be calculate in an equitable way. - Canada Pension Plan (CPP) There are no'claw-back' provisions in CPP . Unless there are people eligible to receive the survivor's pension (a monthly pension paid to the surviving spouse or common-law partner of a deceased contributor. There is also a children's benefit (a monthly benefit for dependent children of a deceased contributor). However, the benefit is negligible ($2,500 Death Benefit, Maximum) if you die.

We don't know whether the question asked was even answered. We think that the sub-text here is for a reduction of the repayment of OAS provisions, the "claw-back"; or it's repeal, altogether.
